There are two things that fuel my life: music and love. When I write and play music these two things join forces. My compositions reflect the world around and within me. While working on music I lose complete track of time - it's a lovely gift, and I'm very thankful for it.

I'm an award-winning performer/composer/lyricist/arranger/producer who lives in Nanuet, NY, where I am a full time private piano, music theory and composition teacher, instructing students of all ages and levels. Born in Brooklyn, NY, I started piano lessons at age 5 after my parents Sophie and Gershon discovered I had the gift of music composition. At 10 years old I studied piano (with John Kirkpatrick) and music theory (with Robert Palmer) for the next 3 years at Cornell University. I was a member of the rock band The Creation while in HS in Cortland, NY. After receiving a BM degree from Ithaca College, where I studied composition with Pulitzer prize winner Karel Husa, and Piano and Piano Pedagogy with Ronald Regal , I went on to receive my MM in composition, theory and piano from Indiana U, where I studied composition with Pulitzer Prize winner Bernhard Heiden.

Since then I have written multiple pop songs, classical, jazz, new age, electronica, and ambient pieces, 3 musicals for children, and the opera: "A Better Way", with libretto by Joseph P. Lanzone. My original solo instrumental CDs include "Shimmer", "Think Lovely Thoughts", “My Provincetown", "World Trade Center Suite", "Symmetry", "Pictures Of Me", as well as numerous singles, including "Lucky Day RMX", "The Miracle Of Life RMX", and "Gay".
